Josh Williams is an average fifteen-year-old who suffers from a severe form of depression. Greg Branston returns home as the most hated man in Dafydd's Well, a run-down mining village nestled in the Welsh Valleys. One struggles with the power of his irrational emotions driving him to desperation, the other struggles with the legacy he left when he turned his back on the place he once called home. Alone, both Josh and Greg face a dark and futile battle against their personal demons. But only together can they find the strength they need to resolve their problems and salvage meaning from their struggles. Only together can they find the friendship they need to conquer their demons.
